BROCK UNIVERSITY SUPPORT STAFF (BUSS) EXECUTIVE TEAM
The executive committee leads the union, managing activities, representing members, and ensuring effective operations. They advocate for members’ rights, negotiate contracts, and develop long-term strategies and priorities for campaigns and support initiatives. The committee manages finances transparently, communicates with members, addresses grievances, and fosters participation and solidarity. They ensure compliance with labor laws, maintain records, and lead during crises, such as strikes or lockouts. Additionally, they oversee subcommittees, delegate tasks, and coordinate efforts to strengthen the union and align with its objectives.
