
Who are we?
Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation (OSSTF) D35 Brock University Support Staff is the certified Bargaining Unit representing all Office, Clerical, Administrative and Library Support employees at Brock University in the Regional Municipality of Niagara and the City of Hamilton for employee groups AA-H and reclassified union positions to I-J bargaining unit positions.
OSSTF/FEESO represents more than 60,000 education workers across Ontario.
Currently, OSSTF/FEESO District 35 has Bargaining Units at six (6) Ontario universities:
Algoma University, Brock University, St. Paul University, University of Guelph, University of Ottawa and Wilfrid Laurier University.
OSSTF/FEESO was founded in 1919, and represents, post secondary education clerical, administrative and Library support staff, public high school teachers, occasional teachers, educational assistants, continuing education teachers and instructors, psychologists, secretaries, speech-language pathologists, social workers, plant support personnel, attendance counsellors and many other educational workers.
OSSTF/FEESO D35 Brock University Support Staff bargaining unit was founded in 2002.

2002 OSSTF D35 Brock University Support Staff founded & Gerard Masse becomes the first President.
Norm Westbury elected President 2004 of Brock University Support Staff.
Lesa Mansfield elected President in 2009 of Brock University Support Staff.
Norm Westbury elected President 2011 of Brock University Support Staff.
Alison Rothwell elected President 2016 of Brock University Support Staff.
Greg Panas succeeded to President 2020 of Brock University Support Staff.
Wanda Gilmore elected President 2021 of Brock University Support Staff.
On January 16, 2025 Brock University Support Staff went on strike for the first time in their history. This strike lasted from 12:01am to time of ratification by the union membership later that day.
