Brock Restructuring — Phase 2
This morning, OSSTF BUSS was made aware that Brock University is moving forward with “Phase 2” of its restructuring plan.
This will include streamlining the Graduate Coordinators role into a new AP role similar to the academic coordinators this past March. We want to keep you informed, 6 OSSTF members are affected by the review, The University has informed us THERE WILL BE NO JOB LOSS, LAY-OFFS OR BUMPING as part of this review for OSSTF and our members. Your OSSTF BUSS Executive is working closely to support our members and with the Labour Relations Team at Brock to gather the information needed to fully understand the implications of this next phase.
We recognize that announcements like this can create uncertainty and concern within our community. We want to assure you that we are actively engaged and will continue to advocate for and support our members throughout this process.
