We Need You!
What do you want to see in our next Collective Agreement? We need your voice!
Collective bargaining is the process where workers, through their union, come together to negotiate with their employer on important workplace issues, including wages, working conditions, benefits, and other terms of employment. It is one of the most important ways we can use our collective voice to create positive change.
As we begin preparing for future bargaining, our Collective Bargaining Committee (CBC) is looking for members who want to get involved, share their experiences, and help shape the priorities that will guide our negotiations.
You don’t need to be a bargaining expert or have previous union experience. The CBC is a great opportunity to learn more about the bargaining process, connect with fellow members, and make sure the issues that matter most to our members are brought forward.
The CBC is responsible for helping guide our bargaining process, including:
- Gathering feedback and priorities from members
- Reviewing workplace issues and concerns
- Preparing bargaining priorities and recommendations
- Keeping members informed throughout the process
- Supporting the negotiation and ratification process
This is your opportunity to have a say in the future of our workplace.
What issues are important to you? What changes would make your work life better? What should we be fighting for at the bargaining table?
We want to hear from you, because strong agreements are built by strong member participation.
