National Day of Mourning – APRIL 28th, 2026

Day of Mourning

for workers injured, killed or made ill by hazardous work.

On April 28th, across Canada, we take the day to remember all of those who left for work and came home sick from working conditions, disabled from workplace accidents, or never came home at all.

Each year the Niagara Regional Labour Council takes time to have observances at memorials at accident sites and city halls across the region.
