According to our Constitution and Bylaws, our Bargaining Unit Executive is meant to be fully staffed in order to function effectively and represent members as we are mandated to do. At present, due to the ongoing restructuring, we have lost nearly half of the members serving in these Executive roles – on top of several positions that were already unfilled.
This leaves critical leadership, advocacy, and representation gaps at a moment when our collective strength matters more than ever.
This is not a time to step back.
This is the time to step up.
We have the structure.
We have the mandate.
We have the collective power.
What we need now is people.
Serving on the Bargaining Unit Executive is one of the most direct ways to be part of meaningful change – to protect our colleagues, shape our working conditions, and help steer our union through uncertainty with care, transparency, and resolve.
Below is a list of members needed to staff the Executive. Those highlighted in red will be up for nominations at the 2026 AGM, or will be vacant as of March 16.
