This week, OSSTF Brock University Support Staff, joined by friends and students from Brock’s Forensic Psychology and Criminal Justice program, came together to wrap gifts for Shopping with Cops – a heart-warming initiative organized by the Niagara Pen Centre, in partnership with Niagara Regional Police and Community Care of St. Catharines & Thorold.
Through this special event, 40 local children are given an unforgettable holiday experience. Each child received a $250 gift card and shopped alongside police officers who generously volunteers their time as a personal shoppers.
Our volunteers added a little extra magic; bows, paper, and lots of care, to help make each child’s day even brighter. We’re so grateful to everyone who gave their time, energy, and festive spirit to help spread joy throughout our community this holiday season.
