On August 28, 2025 your Women’s Advocates, Emily and Mary, joined the Period Packing Party hosted by Project Share Niagara Falls.
While Project Share is best known as a food bank, they also receive an overwhelming 900 requests for menstrual products each month, yet these items are among the least donated. This event shed light on the reality of period poverty, which affects many menstruating individuals who struggle to access the products they need.
You can help make a difference. The next time you’re grocery shopping, consider adding a package of pads or tampons to your cart and donating them to Project Share.
