The Emerging Leaders program is designed to cultivate leadership potential and skills among staff members, identifying and nurturing future leaders within the university. This program aims to establish a solid foundation of essential leadership competencies, foster an understanding of individual roles within a team, and equip participants with the tools needed to lead with confidence and effectiveness throughout their careers at Brock.

Leading at Brock is a specialized leadership development program tailored for professional staff in management positions. It focuses on equipping participants with the strategic skills necessary to guide their teams toward achieving the institution’s goals. The program seeks to instill positive leadership qualities that enhance the ability to foster a supportive learning culture, drive high performance within teams, and deepen participants’ understanding of their own leadership strengths and styles.

Management Training Program designed specifically for new managers. This program aims to equip participants with the essential skills to lead teams and effectively support the university’s strategic vision.

Mentorship Program: The program aims to connect employees with more experienced professionals to facilitate professional development, growth, and achievement. It is designed to accommodate diverse professional growth needs; as such, participants can choose the type and extent of the Mentorship relationship. The Mentorship program is a form of professional guidance and support. It is a valuable developmental intervention tool that supports and guides individuals seeking growth and advancement and offers many benefits to the Mentees, Mentors, and the University.

The relationship between the Mentor and Mentee can take different forms, ranging from providing guidance and support to achieve specific goals to offering general and broad guidance. Some of these advantages of participating in the Mentorship
